Nighttime Exteriors - Moonlight

Nighttime shoots can be tricky when trying to make it look natural. On a tourism shoot in Fort Walton Beach, FL, we were able to light a beach to create a moonlight look with a 2.5k and 1.2k HMI that we diffused with a 6x6 1/4 grid. To motivate the light on the close-ups we used a Nanlite Forza 60 in a Chimera Pancake on boom to ensure the soft look of moonlight was able to wrap around the faces of talent.
